Bournemouth

More than 5.5 million visitors arrive in Bournemouth each year, this phenomenal growth was started by Captain Lewis Tregonwell back in the 1800’s. In fact, Bournemouth was not granted a charter to become a Municipal Borough until 1890.

How things have changed since the Captain and his wife Henrietta first walked along the sand dunes all those years ago. Harpers & Queen have recently described Bournemouth or affectionately “Bomo” as the next coolest city on the planet.

The combination of family entertainment, exciting nightlife, major events and conferences and more quality accommodation than any other resort in England, together with seven miles of sandy beaches makes Bournemouth number one for visitors.

Positioned in a sheltered bay on the South Coast, Bournemouth benefits from a year round mild climate with more than average sunshine. This enables the more adventurous to pursue leisure activities throughout the year. Take a stroll along the promenade to watch the jet skiers and windsurfers.

Don’t exhaust yourself with too much activity during the day, as Bournemouth comes alive at night. It has the reputation of the party capital of the South. Be it Club, House or 70’s music there will be a venue for you to indulge and enjoy.Bournemouth is huge on entertainment, mainstream shopping, Bay Watch beaches, nightlife and thriving commercial quarters. Enjoy!
